MATERIALS

All of our superior Nic Tailor undergarments are ultra soft, absorbent and breathable fabric. We offer a no back seam for additional comfort and patented expanding Activesea, for “No Chafing” fit. Our “tailored knickers’ are flyless for extra support and they provide a contour pouch for just the right amount of room. Then there is our Dry Fly Boxer Brief that has 2 additional plies of moisture trapping fabric in the front panel and 1 additional ply in the gusset. The fabric against the body is our micro modal supima jersey to keep the body dry.

OUR GUIDE TO PROPER MEASUREMENTS

WAIST SIZE

When you start off with any pair of pants/jeans, you determine your size by the waist. But one thing you need to remember, most clothing companies intentionally deflate waist sizes to make you feel good so don’t be fooled. But at Nic Tailor, we use honest, authentic measurements, like a real tailor. One way to get your true waist size is simply by getting a tape measure. You can simply measure the circumference of your waist two inches below your navel. Place one finger between your waist and tape measure to ensure a comfortable fit! Now say if you don’t have a tape measure, you can lay your favorite pair of jeans out flat. With a ruler, measure the center of the waistband then double that. That should be your honest waist size. (For example, if that waist is 18 inches across, you would have a 36 inch waist.) If you need extra customization, to have your waist hand-tailored for even more customizations, contact one of our experts here.

WHAT IS AN INSEAM?

Your inseam is the length of the garment from the crotch pont to the end of the pant leg. Our Nic Tailor underwear come in 3 inch, 5 inch and 8 inch inseams. (Of course, our briefs have zero inseam.) Depending on what size inseam you feel to be the most comfortable, that’s all up to you. We are here to cater to your needs and supply you with maximum comfort.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE A LARGE GROIN?

To measure your groin size properly, please measure yourself in a comfortable pair of briefs. Place one end of your tape measure on the groin seam of your briefs. Run the tape measure over your groin at its largest, fullest point to the seam on the other side. If you have a large groin, the measurement is 7 ¾” or greater. If you have an average groin, the measurement is 7 ¾” or less. (95% of us have an average size groin.) Remember, don’t be shy, comfort is all that matters.

HOW DO I MEASURE BUTT SIZE?

Many people with large rear ends will order pants with a bigger waist size just so they can fit into them. But there's another way: measure the width around your butt at its widest part. If you have a large butt, the measurement is 8 or more inches larger than your waist size. If you have a regular butt, the measurement is 5” and 8” greater than your waist. If you have a small but, the measurement is less than 5 inches greater than your waist.
