You can not tell the difference between our regular boxer-brief and the Dry Fly brief, however it has two additional plies of moisture trapping fabric in the front panel and one additional ply in the gusset. The fabric against the body is our micro modal supima jersey to keep the body dry.

All the fabrics have a very soft hand and fit the body well, no matter your body type.

The inner plies of fabric use the COOL ME QUICKTM technology to attract and hold moisture. The made in USA recycled fabric (made from plastic bottles) is antimicrobial with permanent wicking action designed at the fiber level that will not go away with washing. Ask Nic Tailor – Your Guide To Proper Measurements

Here are some easy tips to help you get the perfect sized under garments.

    What is my waist size?

Remember, most clothing companies intentionally deflate waist sizes to make you feel good. Don’t be fooled! At Nic Tailor, we use honest, authentic measurements, like a real tailor.

    WITH TAPE MEASURE

Simply measure the circumference of your waist two inches below your navel. Place one finger between your waist and tape measure to ensure a comfortable fit.

    WITHOUT TAPE MEASURE

Lay your favorite pair of jeans out flat. With a ruler, measure the center of the waistband. Now, double that. That should be your honest waist size. (For example, if the waist is 18 inches across, you would have a 36 inch waist.)

    What is an inseam?

Inseam is the length of the garment from the crotch point to the end of the pant leg.

Our underwear come in 3, 5 and 8 inch in-seams. (Of course, our briefs have zero inseam.)

How do I know if I have a large groin?

To measure properly, please measure yourself in a comfortable pair of briefs. Place one end of your tape measure on the groin seam of your briefs. Run the tape measure over your groin at its largest, fullest point to the seam on the other side.

    LARGE GROIN

If the measurement is 7 3/4" or greater, then you have a large groin.

    AVERAGE GROIN

If it is less than 7 3/4," then your groin is average. (95% of us have an average size groin.)

How do I measure butt size?

Many people with large rear ends will order pants with a bigger waist size just so they can fit into them. But here’s a another way: measure the width around your butt at its widest part.

    LARGE BUTT

If this measurement is 8 or more inches larger than your waist size, you have a large butt.

    REGULAR BUTT

If your butt is between 5" and 8" greater than your waist, then the regular butt will fit you.

    SMALL BUTT

If your butt is less than 5 inches greater than your waist, then you have a small butt.

    What is my chest size?

This is also known as shirt or jacket size. This is the circumference of your chest just under your arms.

With arms straight at sides, measure around the fullest part of the chest, right under your armpits. Inhale before measuring to get an accurate size.

Why is my height important for my shirt length?

Your height will help us determine the length of the shirt, but it will also help determine the length of your sleeves. No one wants sleeves that are too short – or too long. The measurement point for shirt length is from high point of shoulder (where the neck collar seam meets the shoulder line) to the bottom of the shirt. Nic Tailor suggests:

    SHORT LENGTH

    For a height of 5’4 - 5’8

    REGULAR LENGTH

    For a height of 5’9 - 6’2

    LONG LENGTH

    For a height of 6’3+

How do I choose between slim and regular fit?

While not restrictive, slim fit is more narrow and has a tighter fit in the arms, waist and chest area, while regular fit, the chest, arms, waist are all relaxed and looser.

    SLIM FIT

If the shape of your body belongs to categories such as “skinny”, “slender”, “lean” or “slim”, then you most probably need a Slim fit. The sleeves will be more fitted, and the chest and back measurements may be a bit smaller. For a more technical way to measure: Measure your chest. Then, measure the thinnest area around your abdomen. If the thinnest area is more than 3 inches less than your chest, then you might prefer the Slim. However, you may also prefer Regular for a looser fit.

    REGULAR FIT

If you belong to the beefier category, muscle or not, you should be considering a Regular fit. A Regular fit runs in a straight block, from armhole to waist. You may also prefer Regular for a looser fit. For a more technical way to measure: Measure your chest. Then, measure the thinnest area around your abdomen. If the thinnest area is less than 3 inches less than your chest, then you might prefer the Regular.
